Summary of PSA Program:

The Air Force Reserve PSA program is designed to educate the general population on how the Air Force Reserve serves the Nation. Advertisements on television, radio, cable, out-of-home, newspapers and other media enhance conventional advertising and increase overall exposure to maximize recruitment efforts. Statistical results of PSA advertisements, and how they relate to OLs and recruitment efforts, are generated through automated reports on-line for all AFR Recruiters to view 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Station List: The Station List is a spreadsheet that lists all stations PSAs are sent to and asked to air. Stations Reporting Airings: The Stations Reporting Airings Report is a spreadsheet of all stations that have been sent a PSA and actually aired it. Geographic Penetration: The Geographic Penetration report displays the market saturation levels of PSA airings in relation to OLs on a map of the United States. Day-Part Penetration: The Day-Part Penetration Report illustrates percentage of airings in various time periods that broadcasts occur on TV and radio. Network penetration: The Network penetration report illustrates the percentage of airings for television and cable networks. Spots Played Report: Spots Played Report exhibits the performance of a specific commercial or selection of commercials and compares which PSA campaigns are most effective. Audience Profile Report: The Audience Profile Report displays demographic audience data. Station Specific: The Station Specific Report compares station performance reporting highest number of airings and graphs the top five performers. Cost Equivalency Report: The Cost Equivalency Report provides an in-depth profile of stations reporting airings, total broadcasts, number of audience impressions and the equivalent dollar value for all airings.
